Spring is Here!

Well, it *was* here. For 2 glorious weeks in late April/early May, we had 75+ degree weather, blue skies, and constant sunshine. Needless to say, we spent a lot of time outside; hanging out in the Wychfield gardens, taking long walks through the countryside, and -unfortunately- getting sunburned (Jackie). While we now have sunscreen, we no longer need it. Spring/summer has departed at present and the weather in Cambridge has returned to its standard 55 degrees and partly grey. Alas. Here's a sampling of our 'spring' pictures. To see the rest, visit the CAMBRIDGE album link on the right.

April in Paris

Bonjour nos amies et notre famile! We've recently returned from an absolutely fantastic trip to Paris. On our first sojourn to the Continent since moving here, we spent 4 days exploring the city, eating good food, and - of course - taking lots and lots of pictures. All of which -and it's my own fault- have been permanently date-stamped in BRIGHT RED-ORANGE by the camera. Helas! Guess we'll have to go back? That wouldn't be so bad. ;-) Anyway. Photos are up - click on the 'PARIS' shortcut in order to view the entire album (ignore the date stamps). Enjoy!

Happy Easter!

Well, well, well. We weren't expecting to be updating again so soon, however upon waking this morning, we were greeted with this unusual sight (unusual for Cambridge that is):

3 whole inches of accumulated snow! We decided to bring our camera with us to church in order to get the most out of this rare, snowy, spring morning, even going so far as to stop by the Trinity Hall main site for a 'photo shoot'. Check the CAMBRIDGE album for all photos. By afternoon, the sun had come out and the snow was gone. Weird. Oh well, at least the view out our window looks like spring again.

Will suggested the title of this post should be "Picture Bonanza"

Whew! Finally a weekend to relax! And post pictures! ;-) the course of the past month, our travels have taken us around Cambridgeshire to Wicken Fen and Ely Cathedral, to & from London with old friends and new, and a bit farther afield to Bath, where Will ran half-marathon! A sampling of photos are below, however you can view all the photos in their respective albums (links are on the right). The 'Bath Half' album is new, of course, and both the CAMBRIDGE, LONDON, and Out & About albums have been updated. Enjoy!
